Abstract :
The virtual studio system provides a comprehensive solution for all stages of TV program production by enabling real time integration of live actors with 3D virtual sets during live-to-air program shooting. The system is a fully-integrated and open system which provides both cost advantages and new creative abilities for television productions. New and unique features in RT-SET´s system include an on-line video cursor which enables the studio operator to interact with the ongoing production in real time; a virtual blue screen which enables the cameras to shoot outside the blue screen perimeters; a virtual camera which enables the “camera” to wander off and “shoot” in places which are far beyond the actual studio boundaries; 3D sound effects which enable activation of sound effects associated with the 3D world; post-production capabilities and others
