Abstract
This paper describes first the on-line voltage security assessment application developed within the EU-sponsored OMASES project and installed at the control center of HTSO. Following this, LTC tap-reversing as well as HVDC power modulation and capacitive filter switching, and finally fast generation control are used to assess emergency counter-measures for a critical contingency originating from the OMASES-VSA function of the hellenic interconnected system.
