  • Abstract
    Small hydro (SH) / photovoltaic (PV) hybrid power system (HPS) is a clean and economic way of renewable energy power generation, which has a good complementary according to local resources distribution features. Operation characteristics of SH and PV generation system are analyzed in detail and a novel control strategy is proposed in this paper. The PV generation system is designed to have the same operation properties as the SH generation system. The simulation results verify the performance of the proposed method.
