  • Abstract
This paper presents a control method for single-phase and three-phase AC voltage supply by mean of ICBRM variable energy control technique which provides suitable power supply feeding to load requirements, and also, improve the feeding efficiency resulting in increased energy saving. The Integral Cycle Binary Rate Modulation (ICBRM) signals are integral cycle compositions of 8-bit binary rate multiplier (BRM) and 50 Hz, three-phase AC voltage signals which are divided into 8 parts per cycle, so that 2040 patterns are provided for the single-phase and three-phase feeding applications. Experimental results shows that such methods can be properly implemented for lighting bulbs and three-phase induction motor with low energy loss. This mean that the technique provides high efficiency performance and conducts energy saving.
