Abstract :
Localization systems have been identified as a key issue to the development and operation of the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). Accurate localization algorithms are needed for a wide variety of WSN applications, and it is hard to get the precision solution by traditional node localization algorithm. In this paper, we propose a new technique for position estimation of nodes using Learning Automata and integrate it into an existing localization technique, namely APS(dv-distance) and evaluate its performance using simulations. Simulation results show that our proposed approach is efficient and compared with related schemes can achieve higher accurate position estimation.
