Abstract
Document Image Processing (DIP) is important to the document image information system. The scanned image needs DIP to satisfy the national standards and industrial rules. Based on the analysis of related works, a specific DIP model was proposed. It was designed for official documents used in government departments. The years running demonstrates that the DIP model could perform skew correction, enhancement and compression coherently and perfectly.
