Abstract
Based on the previous study, knowledge flow success among supply chain enterprises was found to be associated with several key variables. Considering that different characteristics of knowledge flow could exist in different types of supply chain, the article chooses manufacture and IT supply chain as research objects to study the knowledge flow preference in different industries. And then, conjoint analysis will be applied to test utility preference of knowledge flow, in order to deepen researches of knowledge flow. The conclusion finds that it needs to select right conditions in the process of knowledge flow, and different chains have different requirements. The two supply chains both consider inter-firm cooperation to be effective variables. However, the manufacturing supply chain proposed higher requirements on the technology in the knowledge embedded, while the IT-business supply chain emphasizes on staff´s knowledge.
