Abstract :
The aim of this paper is to develop a web based fish stock assessment tools for generating fish statistical population information using fish length methods (WfSAT). FISAT II is currently software on fish stock assessment study has been developed by ICLARM-FAO. This is a standalone software application. WfSAT that we developed is an improvement software application to FiSAT II where the statistical data can be automatically store in centralized database. Data input for WfSAT is done using mobile device on site, where this data automatically sorting into their own interval class of fish length. Procedure for fish population studies will then follow FISAT II application software. Since, this WfSAT is a centralized database, it could be easily analyzed by user in anywhere at any time using internet access. WfSAT also will help the fisheries management authority for generating the statistical of fish population data or information for fish stock assessment analysis and forecasting by using fish length as a main feature data.
