Abstract :
Supporting of aging and cerebral disease patients is very useful research theme. We have advanced a study by focusing on special vascular dementia that it is possible for preventing and treatment. It is shown frontal lobe dysfunction because vascular dementia is a subcortical dementia, and executive dysfunction is remarkable. This executive function deeply involves working memory that is develops the simultaneous storage and processing of information. So this time, we are focusing on working memory, and examine about consumption of processing performance on each recognition process. The experiment carried out recognition test by using dual-task method. As a result, we understood that consumption of processing performance on face recognition was larger than on the other recognition.
