Abstract :
The problems of parameter estimation for noisy signals having multiple sinusoidal components, some or all of which may be harmonically related are addressed. A nonlinear observer approach is used to derive a filter possessing local stability. The results of simulations are presented to illustrate that the authors´ method can offer improved performance compared to an extended Kalman filter
