Abstract :
Microgrids have been considered as important parts of future power systems, which are believed to be capable of solving some tough problems in large systems. In emergency, a microgrid is often required to reconfigure itself as soon as possible in order to support continuous electricity to essential loads. Types of operations, including topology switching, load shedding and generation regulation, are concerned in reconfiguration. As a result, the problem of reconfiguration becomes a typical constrained nonlinear optimal problem with discrete, Boolean and continuous variables, which is often too complex to be solved by regular optimization methods. Considering that most variables can be reformed into Boolean or binary ones, this paper proposes a Boolean model to equivalent the optimized one, which can be resolved by the OBDD method (ordered binary decision diagram) in a short time in any given precise. Simulation results on a microgrid demo show the validity of the method.
