Abstract
An approach to model group interactions involving persons and machines is presented. It is based on a language/action perspective where a conversation corresponds to a script of interactions which takes place among a group of agents performing speech acts as well as ordinary acts. These speech acts and ordinary acts are discussed along with two main knowledge structures, the communication/action structures and the decision space, which represent agents´ mental attitudes, plans, and communication activities
