Abstract :
Mission critical operations have a very high level of importance in that their interruption may cause social unrest or severe problems in corporate management operations. From this point of view, it is common to construct them by using mainframes with high reliability, high processing capacity and excellent continuity. We have met this need by developing an ultra-large-scale cooperative distributed system that realizes a mission criticality level equivalent to conventional systems, while at the same time achieving greatly reduced cost and meeting the development time frame of 2 years. We describe here a development example of creating an ultra-large-scale cooperative distributed system and the concepts and technologies related to the development process
