Abstract :
This paper provides both an overview of the VHDL 1076.1 effort to extend the standard hardware description language VHDL 1076 to support the description and simulation of analog and mixed analog/digital systems as well as a VHDL 1076-based mixed-signal design methodology for application-specific mixed-signal circuits in automotive applications
