Abstract :
In this paper, we proposed a contrast fusion enhancement algorithm based on center-surround Retinex model for a rendition of high dynamic range images. Firstly only luminance component obtained from YUV color space is processed by using the Retinex algorithm with different parameters, and then the different enhanced results are fused by the proposed nonlinear model in this paper, which can efficiently compress the dynamic range of the image. Compared to the conventional methods, the proposed method can compress the dynamic range of the image well to achieve a better enhancement effect without generating color distortion.
