Abstract :
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) jamming effect is an important indicator to measure jamming pattern and jammer performance. The scientific and accurate evaluation of SAR jamming effect is an important basis for selecting effective jamming model and for improving the jamming system efficacy. In order to solve this, we deduce new expression of mutual information in terms of probability distribution diversity. We relate the information with entropy such as condition entropy and joint entropy, thus we develop a SAR jamming evaluation model of high effectiveness. Simulation experiments of this proposed model using Radarsat-1 real data for different scenarios demonstrate the success of the model effectiveness and applicability.
