Abstract :
Hi-tech development zones are an important supporter for improving China´s independent innovation capability. With DEA method, Technical innovation efficiency of 53 state-level hi-tech development zones in China is measured, and its influencing factors are analyzed with Tobit regression. Seven variables, such as science and technology input intensity, etc, are found to be able to significantly improve innovation efficiency of hi-tech zones, and other five variables, degree of industrial cluster and scale of development zones included, are found to have negative impact on innovation efficiency of hi-tech zones. Such a study makes it possible to improve innovation efficiency of hi-tech development zones through adjusting the level of relevant variables.
