Abstract :
Steering control system is a promising method for promoting seakeeping of planning boat. It is an important precondition to obtain high-quality input signal for it. Time series analysis method is applied to access the goal. In order to check out whether the method is suitable or not, acceleration data of boat model in seakeeping test is used. Since the data shows strong trend and periodicity, product season ARIMA model is selected for making 20 steps´ prediction. The calculation result is that the max error is not larger than 6% in former ten steps while 16.68% in latter ten steps, which indicates prediction using the model is valid in short time.
