Abstract
The concept of an integrated factory and depot test approach for solving weapon system support issues called INTEGRATES (Integrated Test Enhances Government Readiness, Acquisition Time and Equipment Support) is discussed. The author identifies the importance of the test process as the common means for implementing integrated design and test (integrated diagnostics, GIMADS), total quality management, life-cycle cost control, and computer-aided logistics support
