Abstract :
The public price hearings system is a public policy-making system which reflects the democracy, fairness, impartiality and transparency in the field of government price regulation. And it is a price formation mechanism which balances the different interests between the enterprises, consumers and government. The public price hearings system has been carried out more than 10 years in China, and the wide implementation of public price hearing system reflects that Chinese government´s administrative action has turned to justice and democracy gradually. Here we will make concrete analysis for China´s public price hearing system from the angle of institutional basis, hearing items and hearing participants. From these, we summarize some experiences in implementing this system in practice, point out some defects that still exist in public price hearing and the ways to perfect in the future.
