Abstract :
This paper presents the analysis of electromagnetic wave scattering by cylindrical object located in a circular resonator. The exact full-wave theory based on the mode-matching method is applied to analyze the structures. The resonance frequencies of the investigated resonators are accurately determined. Validity and accuracy of the approach is verified by comparing the results with alternative numerical methods and the author´s experiment.
