Abstract :
This communication presents preliminary results of examining a full-wave approach based upon the method-of-moments combined with an adaptive frequency sampling and Stoer-Bulirsch rational approximation algorithm as a tool for a wideband frequency-domain transient analysis of a multiconductor transmission line driven by a lumped voltage source and simultaneously exposed to external electromagnetic field. The analysis aims at investigating possible degradation of signal integrity due to electromagnetic interference caused by undesirable field coupling with transmission lines. Numerical example involving two conductors backed by a conducting ground plane demonstrate the usefulness and potential of the approach.
