Abstract
This paper presents a simple and innovative method for designing and optimizing a QHA antenna for dual-hand operation. The substantial point is the use of a very simple impedance matching network at both frequency hands to omit the reactance parts, which makes the overall optimization simpler. This antenna is to be implemented on the Asian Small Multi-Mission Satellite (SMMS).
