  • Abstract
    Applications of three-dimensional (3-D) LCR prototype filters in the design of 3-D recursive filters are proposed, including 3-D planar-rejection (PR) filters and 3-D planar-pass/planar-rejection (PP-PR) filters. A typical application of the 3-D PR filters is to reject spatial-dynamic or spatial-static background linear-trajectory component signals. A technique for implementing the 3-D filters is proposed that employs 3-D operators. A simple design procedure is described, having efficient modular 3-D filter structures
