Abstract :
The remote elevator monitor system (REMS) based on embedded and wireless communication is introduced in this paper, which includes the overall system architecture, hardware and software structure. The REMS based on wireless communication adopts and Linux system. Meanwhile, Communication Module, Web-Based Platform are presented in this article, system can diagnosis elevator fault correctly and completely, then giving alarm in sound, light through self-sending short message when fault occur, which consult remote parameter and offer debug guide. The REMS easily maintained and conveniently implemented in the security inspecting and control in elevators to improve the public security and comfort.
