Abstract :
This paper presents the results of studies to seek solutions to mitigate the problems caused by the contamination of para power substations equipment, which are installed in the Amazon Forest, by slimes, moss, lime, lichen and other characteristic species of this region and the evaluation of the higher value of the leakage current due this contamination.
