Abstract :
An approach to the synthesis of multidimensional (MD) lossless filters is presented. This approach is based on the lossy transformation technique (LTT), and is such that a new class of MD networks can be obtained. To illustrate the new application of the approach, the principle of synthesis of a new quadrant fan filter is discussed and compared with that developed on the basis of classical image parameter filter design method. Two design examples are given
