Abstract :
Representation of radiation field of microwave iotroscopy measurement unit in form of wave beam was considered. Allocation of the reflected field and reflection coefficient has been calculated using simple expressions for evaluation of reflection of each plane wave of decomposition. Magnitude of deviations of Fresnel coefficient estimations used in microwave introscopy from its values calculated with use of the wave beam has been considered. Reflection characteristics for various values of sue of the radiating aperture and the reflector, location of structures under test have been obtained.
