Abstract :
The plane wave diffraction problem for a 3D special slotted conical structure is considered. The structure under consideration is a semi-infinite circular perfectly conducting cone with longitudinal slots and an isotropic one inside. Studying the plane wave diffraction by such a structure is a canonical problem. By virtue the method that is based on using the Kontorovich-Lehedev integral transforms and the semi-inversion method the electromagnetic problem is reduced to solving a system of linear algebraic equations for Fourie coefficients of scattered fields. The numerical algorithm for solving this system is constructed. Field behavior near the surface singularities and field in the wave zone are presented.
