Abstract :
The use of high-speed operational amplifiers (op-amps) with low but precisely known DC gain allows the design of precise switched capacitor (SC) circuits with very high sampling frequency. The effect of the finite op-amp DC gain is considered with proper capacitor design; no idle phase is required to compensate errors, and double sampled structures can be implemented. The error due to deviations of the op-amp gain from its nominal value is evaluated. An example of a second-order cell is given
