Abstract :
The coefficient inaccuracy effects in the frequency response of discrete-time recursive transfer functions are investigated. After describing these inaccuracies as additive zero-mean Gaussian random variables, new analytic expressions for the deviation in the frequency response of recursive sampled-data filters are derived through a statistical analysis. Also obtained is an estimate of the actual magnitude of the filter frequency response. Results obtained through computer simulations using the Monte Carlo technique are compared to the proposed approach in order to give support to the developed analysis
