Abstract
The relationship between voltage and current feedback is generalized, and it is shown that current feedback operational amplifiers and current conveyors are all part of the same family. Some early ideal amplifiers concepts such as the `Nullor´ and `Universal´ amplifier are reviewed, together with the relationship between current conveyor topologies in the light of advanced bipolar junction transistor (BJT) process technology. The new commercial LTP CCII01, 100 MHz precision dual current conveyor and its application as a universal hybrid amplifier structure are reported
