Abstract :
This paper proposes a new method to suppress interference using antenna array for LTE uplink. The proposed method does not require knowledge on resource allocation of either interfering or communicating mobile stations, and thus it has a significant advantage of ease of implementation. An additional advantage of this method is parallelization and scalability for multi-core processing. This paper also proposes a novel iterative timing offset compensation to enable effective interference suppression. The proposed method has been successfully implemented on System-on-Chip consisting of multi-core DSP and ARM microprocessors and verified that it successfully suppresses interference in real time.
