Abstract :
Strategy and structure viewpoints had a large impact on the historical research on corporate strategy and relative industrial evolution. The paper utilized the case of the semiconductor memory industry to provide a more holistic perspective to look into the underlying industrial dynamics. By analyzing history of leading DRAM firmsand the dynamics of strategy, it will help us to understand the industrial evolution and vicissitude of firms.
