Abstract :
The modified finite-difference time-domain(FDTD) method, generalized total-field/scattered-field(G-TF/SF) FDTD is applied to compute the response of interconnect illuminated by an external electromagnetic field. This method is also extended from 2-D to 3-D. The current distributions on the strips are presented and in good agreement with the data computed via the moment methods. The simulation result indicates that this method is fast and accurate for the infinite scatterer problem.
