Abstract :
The resolution of the high-speed fiber-optic spectrometer (HSFOS) has been improved. This spectrometer utilizes the spectral-domain signal transformation into time-domain by a dispersive fiber. We have used photonic crystal fibers (PCFs) as dispersive fiber in this spectrometer in order to resolution improvement. Performance of the spectrometer in this case is studied.
