Abstract :
In this paper, we designed a polymer EO modulator which can operate up to 80 GHz. The close velocity match of optical wave with RF signal can be achieved by adding a buffer layer over the electrodes. But the characteristic impedance and attenuation constant of the electrodes have no significant variation.
