Abstract :
Two of the most important factors affecting the performance of oversampled A/D converters are tone, and saturation considerations. Tradeoffs between the above factors for Σ-Δ modulators are analyzed. The effects of pole placement on the steady state behavior of Σ-Δ modulators are investigated by studying the dynamics of an associated continuous time system
