Abstract :
Based on the first law of thermodynamics and the law of hydrokinetics by this paper, the mathematic model of the pressure characteristic in different nozzle throat dimensions is established for the 252 kV SF6 circuit breaker, and the pressure characteristic curve of the arc-extinguishing chamber can be obtained through computation. In addition, the result of the pressure characteristic in different throat length can be achieved by the experiment. It indicates that the result of the computation is right through compared and the affect to the pressure characteristic by different nozzle throat diameters and throat length. And the gas blow through the throat plays an important rule to quench the arc.
