Abstract :
Optical reflectivity of different multilayer structures has been calculated using transfer matrix method in the optical communication conventional band (C-band). From the comparison of the optical reflectivity for periodic, superperiodic and quasi-periodic structures, we see that the most compatible structure for filtering standard DWDM bands is the Fibonacci class based quasi-periodic structure. This structure should have layers with appropriate thicknesses and refractive indices in order to adapt DWDM grid.
