Abstract :
In this paper we report experimental investigation of slow light generation via SBS in Standard Single Mode Fiber (SSMF) and Photonic Crystal Fiber (PCF). The slow light region has been characterized in terms of gain, phase change and delay of optical probe signal as it swept across the narrowband slow light region.
