Abstract :
A mechanism for large range frequency tuning in in-plane spin torque oscillator is suggested and supported by the macrospin simulation. With magnetostrictive anisotropy controlled by the stress induced from PZT, center frequency of the oscillator shifts in 2-5 GHz range.
