Abstract :
The goal of the SSI (Server System Infrastructure) initiative is to deliver a set of open industry specifications covering two primary server elements: power supplies and electronic bays, and thus lay the groundwork for future growth in the server market. The initiative is similar to such desktop PC efforts as ATX and NLX in that it is working to define common packaging elements for the server market
