Abstract
Based on Information Processing Theory(IPT), this paper establishes an evaluation system named as Inter Organizational Alignment Model(IOAM) for Inter Organizational Information Systems( IOS). The evaluation process includes the following three phases: alignment of business and IT within an organization, alignment of IT capabilities between partners, alignment of Information Processing Capability and Information Processing Requirement. The degree of fit of each phase can be assessed by the adoption of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method combined with Analytic Network Process(ANP).
