Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a contrast enhancement method for OLED-TV. To enhance the contrast of image, we model a cost function that consists of brightness-term and contrast-term, and produce the contrast enhanced image by optimizing the cost function. The experimental results show that the proposed method exhibits considerable enhancements than histogram equalization method in terms of subjective image quality.
