Abstract
One of the challenges in project portfolio management is lack of perfect information for project evaluation. On the other hand, in order to decide witch project portfolio to be selected, only the results of a mathematical model can not be relied. One of the methods witch puts the imperfect information in the model and considers the possibility of modeling the preference of decision makers through interactive operation is robust portfolio modeling (RPM). This paper tries to analyze the experiments of implementation of RPM in a software engineering company and after some recommendations for better implementation of new product development (NPD) projects.
