The framework is built up through a research methodology integrating multiple case studies and a significant literature analysis. Through the creation of a system of strategic clustering matrices, the four key business models currently adopted by MMTPs - ldquopure playrdquo, ldquofull assetrdquo, ldquothird parties relationship-focusedrdquo and ldquoplatform & content management - are identified, and insightful conclusions on the impact of these actorspsila newly emerging influence on the competitive dynamics characterizing the mobile content market are drawn.
