Abstract
In this paper, a modification to the delays used in reception beamforming is introduced that allows one to sharply reduce the echoes centered at the fundamental frequency and to keep the echoes centered at the second harmonic, while preserving the focusing performances. Such a modification can be easily implemented in echographic equipments. The spectral analysis of the obtained signals and the performance reported in processing real signals increase the confidence in the practical value of the proposed technique
