Abstract :
This paper presents a discrete-time sliding mode control technique using fast output sampling. Fast output sampling enables arbitrary sliding mode design and an equivalent fast output feedback control. The proposed boundary layer sliding mode scheme, for reduced control chattering, delivers an equivalent fast output sampling feedback control. An illustrative example is provided to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed control scheme.
