Abstract :
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) consist of thousands of sensor nodes that gather data from deployed environments. Sensor networks are collection of sensor nodes which co-operatively send sensed data to base station. As sensor nodes are battery driven, an efficient utilization of power is essential in order to use networks for long duration hence it is needed to reduce the amount of data that has to be send to the base station. Hence data aggregation scheme that reduces a large amount of transmission is the most practical technique. In previous studies, conventional data aggregation schemes like homomorphic encryptions have been applied to conceal communication during aggregation. But this scheme is not applicable for multi-application environments and also they may suffer from unauthorized aggregation attacks. To overcome this problem in the proposed scheme data is aggregated using concealed Data Aggregation Scheme for Multiple Applications. It is designed for multi-application wireless sensor networks, in which sensor node may have different purposes. Also the data collected at the sensor nodes is aggregated and forwarded to the base station in a more secure way.
